Abhiram Singh is a second-year undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) majoring in biochemistry. An aspiring physician scientist, he is interested in learning how to communicate science in a concise, engaging, and effective manner in an academic context. Abhiram has made contributions to clinical cancer projects at Northwell Health and New York University which have piqued his interest in Radiation Oncology. He also made contributions to a project focused on the effects of traumatic brain injuries on the innate immune system at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. This work led to Abhiram being named a 2025 Barry Goldwater scholar, a prestigious national honor for undergraduate researchers.
