Abram Abdou, MS
Abram Ayman Abdou is a PhD candidate in the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Miami, where he also serves as outreach and fundraising chair for the Medical Physics Society. He earned his MS in Medical Physics from the University of Miami after completing a BS in Biophysics at the University of Florida, where he first developed his research interests in advanced imaging.
Mr. Abdou’s career focus is on therapeutic medical physics with an emphasis on integrating spectroscopic MRI (sMRI) into radiation therapy planning for glioblastoma. His doctoral research investigates dose-dependent metabolic changes and adaptive radiotherapy.
