Addison K Apisarnthanarax is a Research Officer at the ONIX Lab at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He is a candidate for a B.S. in Data Science and Business at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a concentration in fintech. Since joining the ONIX Lab in 2023, he has focused on natural language processing for large-scale biomedical literature, building extraction, clustering, validation, and labeling pipelines applied to more than 10,000 PubMed publications across radiation oncology, biology, and medicine. His ASTRO work applies BERTopic with domain-optimized PubMedBERT embeddings to 4,277 IJROBP abstracts published between 2013 and 2023, paired with a two-phase LLM framework scoring topic quality through c-TF-IDF similarity and semantic document–topic fit. He has also served as an AI engineering intern at Prakit Holdings in Bangkok, Thailand, and as technical co-founder of Orvion Finance. His broader work centers on validating automated decisions in settings where errors carry real cost, and he is currently building Panoptris, a physical security platform that constrains language model reasoning outside the safety-critical path. His interests are moving toward embedded systems, uncrewed aerial systems, and generative design.
