Ahmad K. Al-Basheer, FAAPM is the Director of Medical Physics for Radiation Oncology at Sutter Health in Sacramento, California, and a Volunteer Clinical Professor at the University of California, Davis. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and has held numerous national leadership roles focused on advancing medical physics practice, education, and innovation. His interests include radiation oncology technology, clinical standardization, artificial intelligence, quality and safety, and enterprise-wide implementation of advanced treatment planning and imaging systems.
