Alexander Kessler is a medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, expected to earn his MD in 2027, and is applying into radiation oncology. He conducts research in the Department of Radiation Oncology at USC. His current work focuses on evaluating synthetic PET imaging as a pre-treatment eligibility screening tool for biology-guided radiation therapy (BgRT). Prior to medical school, he worked as a Research Associate at Seer, contributing to the development of the Proteograph XT platform. He earned his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2022.
