Anita Nwiloh,MD s a Radiation Oncology resident at the University of Maryland and a graduate of Meharry Medical College. Her passion for oncology extends beyond clinical care, with a strong focus on cancer education, prevention, advocacy, and health equity. During medical school, she founded Future Hands of Oncology, an organization dedicated to increasing exposure to oncology, mentorship, and education for students. Her professional interests include rural medicine, global health, and health disparities research, with a particular interest in understanding and addressing barriers to cancer prevention and treatment in underserved communities. She is also working toward establishing a nonprofit focused on supporting, educating, and empowering minority patients and communities living with cancer. Through her clinical training, research, and community-focused initiatives, she is committed to improving cancer awareness, access to care, and representation in oncology both locally and globally.
