Dr. Silk is a medical oncologist specializing in advanced skin cancers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she directs Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Research and the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Center of Excellence. She cares for patients with Merkel cell carcinoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and rare skin cancers such as extramammary Paget’s disease, primary cutaneous adenocarcinoma, sweat gland carcinoma and sebaceous cell carcinoma. Dr. Silk received MD and MS in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2008. She completed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2014. Dr. Silk served on the Board of Directors for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) and led the development of the SITC Clinical Practice Guideline on nonmelanoma skin cancers.
