Anna L. Slingerland, MD, is an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She received her MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and her BS in Biology from Duke University. Her research experience has focused on clinical outcomes in oncology and neurosurgery. Her current work in radiation oncology examines the use of MammaPrint to inform regional nodal irradiation in patients with luminal breast cancer. She has also participated in research on early-stage non-small cell lung cancer, traumatic brain injury, and pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Slingerland has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations across these areas. She received the Bert and Sally O’Malley Award for Outstanding Medical Student Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2026 and was a Hillman Medical Student Fellow for Innovative Cancer Research in 2023.
