Research

The main line in my career is clinical application of image guidance. My PhD theses dealt with decision criteria for Electronic portal imaging (EPID). A decade later, the potential of Cone Beam CT became clear, and it appeared especially effective for bladder cancer radiotherapy. First I used it as superior tool for position verification. Later I developed an approach with a library of plans. More recently we explored online adaptive treatment with daily replanning, the topic of the presentation at ASTRO-2023.
