Asona Lui, MD, PhD

Dr. Lui is an Assistant Professor at UC San Diego (UCSD) focused on treating patients with breast cancer and metastatic CNS tumors. After receiving her MD and PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, she completed residency in Radiation Oncology at UCSD on the Holman Pathway. Her translational research lab at Moores Cancer Center focuses on the role of interferon signaling in driving aggressive breast cancer, the immunology of triple negative breast cancer and the mechanisms endocrine-resistance in ER+ disease.
