Tilman J Fertitta Family College of Medicine
Houston, TX

Audi Hoang is a third-year medical student at the University of Houston Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is actively involved in oncology research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, contributing to clinical research in radiation oncology and cancer outcomes. His academic and professional interests span the breadth of oncology, with a focus on advancing cancer care through innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical investigation.

Audi’s commitment to oncology is rooted in a deeply personal experience—the loss of his father to glioblastoma multiforme during childhood. Growing up without a father shaped his understanding of the human impact of cancer and motivated his dedication to supporting patients and families facing similar challenges. Named after his father’s favorite car brand, Audi carries that connection with him throughout his journey in medicine. Fully committed to developing as a clinician-researcher, he embraces every opportunity to learn, grow, and advance his ability to serve patients with compassion and excellence.

This presentation represents his first research project and his first national conference presentation. He is honored to share this work at the ASTRO Annual Meeting and is deeply grateful for the mentorship and support that have guided his development. He extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Perni and Dr. Kwong at MD Anderson Cancer Center for their mentorship, guidance, and encouragement throughout this project.
