Bartosz Pawalowski, PhD, is a medical physics specialist and Head of the Medical Equipment Dosimetry Lab at the Greater Poland Cancer Centre in Poznan, Poland, where he has worked since 2008. His clinical work focuses on radiation dosimetry, quality assurance of radiotherapy equipment, acceptance testing, and verification of treatment planning systems and dose calculation algorithms. He earned his master's degree from Poznan University of Technology and completed his specialization in medical physics in 2016. In 2023, he received his PhD in engineering and technology from Poznan University of Technology, with distinction for his doctoral dissertation on the influence of inorganic materials on medical imaging and dose calculation accuracy in radiotherapy. His research focuses on ultra-high dose rate electron beams and dosimetry for FLASH radiotherapy, including dose reproducibility and real-time dose verification using the AQURE FLASH RT platform. Alongside his clinical and research activities, he teaches medical physics and electroradiology students, supervises master's theses, and contributes to professional training through workshops and presentations at national and international scientific meetings.
