Dr. Ben Li is passionate about improving care for the underserved. He founded the non-profit Rayos Contra Cancer to connect existing talent, technology, and resources to create a sustainable and scalable solution to the growing burden of cancer globally. He studied Physics at Harvard University before attending Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he received a certification in Global Health and obtained his Healthcare MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management. He completed his medicine internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center and is a current resident in radiation oncology at the University of California San Francisco.


He is a committee member of ASTRO International Education, AAPM International Affairs, the Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology, and the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) Global Health Subcommittee. He has helped lead longitudinal remote training programs in 2D to 3D EBRT, 3D to IMRT, SBRT/SRS, and HDR Brachytherapy. He is passionate about serving the poor and motivating others to shine.
