Bingyang Ye, PhD, is a computer scientist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and clinical informatics. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Brandeis University and subsequently completed postdoctoral training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.


His recent research focuses on applying and evaluating large language models in clinical settings, including the extraction and grading of immune-related adverse events from oncology documentation. He also studies the robustness, consistency, and monitoring of clinical AI systems, with an emphasis on reliable deployment and model behavior across changing conditions.


His broader interests include clinical NLP, trustworthy AI, multimodal learning, and AI methods for biomedical research and clinical decision support. He is continuing this work as he transitions to a faculty position in China.
