Biqi Chen is a doctoral candidate in Radiation Oncology at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Southern Medical University and completed her professional master’s training in Radiation Oncology at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. Her research focuses on esophageal cancer, radioimmunotherapy, and radiation-induced lung injury. She has been involved in multicenter clinical studies evaluating radiotherapy and immunotherapy strategies for esophageal cancer, as well as prospective research on the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury. Her work on the long-term follow-up of a multicenter randomized phase II trial of pirfenidone for radiation-induced lung injury was selected for oral presentation at ASTRO 2026. She also contributes to the 2026 Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Radiation-Induced Lung Injury. Her current research interests include clinical trials, multi-omics, and immune microenvironment profiling in thoracic oncology.
