Chief Executive Officer, Colorado Associates in Medical Physics (CAMP)
Brad Lofton has been with Colorado Associates in Medical Physics (CAMP) since 2010 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Medical Physics and Nuclear Medical Physics.
With more than a decade of experience, Brad provides comprehensive medical physics support, including data acquisition and analysis, documentation, software development, research support, and qualified inspection services. He performs performance testing across a wide range of imaging modalities, including general radiography/fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, PET, CT, mammography, and MRI.
Brad earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Master of Science in Medical Physics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, he is actively engaged in advancing the profession through national service. He is a member of the AAPM’s Medical Physics 3.0 (MP3.0) Committee, where he chairs the Smart Regulations Subcommittee and the Working Group on Communicating Advances in Radiation Education for Shielding. He also contributes to the Radiological Protection Subcommittee and the Working Group for MP3.0 Resources Development, serving as the MP3RSC Representative.
