Dr. Brena Souza is a radiation oncologist practicing in Brazil, currently working at Oncologia D’Or, one of the country’s leading cancer centers. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at the National Cancer Institute (INCA), a major reference center for cancer treatment, education, and research in Latin America.
Her clinical practice focuses on the multidisciplinary management of solid tumors, with a particular interest in breast and thoracic neoplasms, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and the implementation of advanced radiotherapy techniques in daily clinical practice. Dr. Souza has a special interest in improving access to high-quality radiation oncology care in developing regions and in translating evidence-based medicine into practical oncology care.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Souza is involved in academic and research activities in radiation oncology and regularly participates in national and international scientific congresses. Her current research interests include modern radiation treatment strategies and their outcomes in contemporary oncology practice.
