Brian Marples, PhD, FASTRO

Brian Marples PhD is the Dr. Sidney H. and Barbara L. Sobel Professor in Radiation Oncology in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Rochester, NY. He is also the chair of the ASTRO Science Council. His research involves molecular, cellular and preclinical radiobiology, with a recent focus on mitigating normal tissue injury in the kidney and bladder. His research studies are funded by the NCI, NIAID, DOD and the University of Rochester.
