Chaewon Hwang, MD
Chaewon Hwang, MD is a PGY-4 and Co-Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Tufts Medical Center, with primary clinical training site based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics with Honors in Research from the University of Rochester, and received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Driven by a strong commitment to patient-centered care, she is pursuing a career in academic medicine with a focus on research aimed at improving outcomes for all patients with cancer. While maintaining an open mind regarding the treatment of various disease sites, she has a growing interest in the management of breast cancer, head and neck cancers, and thoracic malignancies.
