Dr. Chris Goodman, MD, FRCPC, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. Dr. Goodman completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Western University, followed by an Advanced Radiation Oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where he currently holds an adjunct assistant professorship. His academic and clinical focus is on advanced radiation techniques, head & neck and thoracic malignancies, and the integration of AI into clinical practice.
Dr. Goodman’s research contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications in radiation oncology, with a particular focus on innovative radiotherapy techniques, health economics in oncology, and interstitial lung disease. He is a lead investigator on several key studies, and his work has been presented at international conferences such as ASTRO and CARO. Dr. Goodman led a team of investigators in crafting a Primer on Interstitial Lung Disease and Thoracic Radiation on behalf of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer Advanced Radiation Technology Committee.
