Christopher Jahraus MD is a board certified radiation oncologist and the owner of Generations Radiotherapy & Oncology PC in Alabaster, Alabama. Dr. Jahraus received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel College (now Bethel University) in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Thereafter, he did an internship in Pediatrics at St. Louis Childrens Hospital of Washington University and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Dr. Jahraus is currently active in both ASTRO and ACRO, and serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of ACROs journal CURiE. He is also vice-chair of the ACRO Government Relations and Economics Committee, and chairs the ACROPath clinical pathways project. Dr. Jahraus and his wife Gina make their home in suburban Birmingham along with their five children, the oldest of which are in graduate school, and the youngest of which is just starting high school.
