Student Doctor Ou is a third-year medical student and is nationally registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state-certified as a Radiologic and MRI Technologist, with extensive clinical and leadership experience prior to entering medical school. Cristina is passionate about a career as a physician in Radiation Oncology, combining her background in MRI and Radiology with her dedication to improving cancer patient care. She was selected as a 2025–2026 ASTRO Medical Student Fellowship recipient and spent the summer conducting cancer research at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale/Phoenix. Her research focused on a 20-year cohort of patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer and was conducted in collaboration with the Departments of Quantitative Health Sciences and Radiation Oncology.
