Danielle Margalit, MD, MPH
Dr. Margalit is a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of head and neck cancers and skin cancers at the Dana-Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center (DFBWCC) and Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program and a post-doctoral fellowship in Cancer Epidemiology and Master of Public Health in Clinical Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Margalit is the Director of Radiation Oncology for the DFBWCC Merkel Cell Cancer Center, Chair of the ASTRO Annual Meeting Head & Neck Cancer Scientific Track, member of the ABR boards examination committee and on the Board of Directors for the Head & Neck Cancer Alliance. For her clinical expertise, she was awarded the inaugural Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Dana-Farber Department of Radiation Oncology Outstanding Clinician Award. Her focus is on multidisciplinary evidence-based treatment guidelines and on clinical trials to improve outcomes in patients with head/neck cancers.
