David Hunter, MS

David Hunter is currently a Ph.D. student at Dartmouth College pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering and medical physics, focusing on radiation therapy. His research explores the fields of intra-operative radiation therapy, machine learning, and neuro-oncology to meet the needs of today’s surgeons and radiation oncologists. As a Surgical Innovations Fellow within Dartmouth College’s Innovations Program, he is committed to advancing the medical community’s utilization of new and emerging surgical devices and practices. His experience spans the medical technology startup space, wireless device safety sector, and defense industries, having worked at SpectraWAVE, Underwriter’s Laboratories, and BAE Systems. With a multidisciplinary background, he strives to bridge the space between engineering and medicine to enhance patient care through technology-driven advancements.
