David Miyamoto, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School, a principal investigator in the Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. His translational research laboratory focuses on the development of novel biomarkers to guide bladder and prostate cancer therapy and improve the individualized care of each patient, with a particular emphasis on the molecular analysis of circulating tumor cells and tumor tissues using multi-omic approaches. Dr. Miyamoto is also a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary malignancies who sees patients at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His research efforts have been supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and the Radiation Oncology Institute.
