Dr. Yu is Professor and the Jerome Landry MD Chair in Cancer Biology, Vice-Chair of Biology Research, and Director of the Division of Cancer Biology in the Department of Radiation Oncology, and Chief of Service for Radiation Oncology at Grady Health System, Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Yu is a physician-scientist in radiation oncology caring for head and neck and breast cancer patients and has a research program understanding the DNA damage response in cancer.
