Denise Foltz, BA
Denise Foltz is a third-year medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, currently completing clinical rotations. She has been involved in research investigating long-term outcomes following Gamma Knife radiosurgery for arteriovenous malformations. She presented preliminary findings at her institution’s research symposium. Her work focuses on evaluating radiation-induced complications such as radionecrosis. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2023. She is particularly interested in radiation oncology and is continuing to explore how it aligns with her clinical and research goals.
