Duaa Alhawi, MSc, is a Senior Medical Physicist with over ten years of experience in radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and radiation protection. She currently works at King Abdullah Medical City, Saudi Arabia, where she supports advanced radiotherapy services, including external beam treatment planning, high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy, intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT), and linear accelerator (LINAC) quality assurance.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Duaa is actively involved in research focused on radiotherapy treatment optimization and quality improvement. She has presented her work at international scientific conferences and serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed international journals. She earned her Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Physics from the University of Aberdeen and remains committed to advancing the field through clinical excellence, research, education, and international professional collaboration.
