Dr Eric Wegener is a radiation oncologist at GenesisCare Newcastle, Australia, and is completing his PhD at the University of Newcastle, where his doctoral work addresses improving efficacy and reducing toxicity in prostate radiotherapy. He chairs GenesisCare's national Genitourinary Expert Advisory Group and was a lead investigator on ASTuTE, the Australian multicentre trial of a multimodal AI biomarker in shared decision-making for androgen deprivation therapy in prostate cancer.
