KORTUC Inc. is a clinical-stage oncology biotechnology company developing KRC-01, an investigational intratumoral radiosensitizer designed to address tumor hypoxia and improve the effectiveness of radiotherapy. KORTUC is advancing three global clinical programs in breast, cervical and rectal cancer. The company has achieved its target enrollment of 184 patients in a registrational, randomized Phase II breast cancer trial led by The Institute of Cancer Research in the United Kingdom. Its ongoing global Phase I/II cervical cancer study is being conducted in collaboration with the University of California San Diego. In France, the Phase II K-BOOST rectal cancer trial, sponsored by Gustave Roussy and conducted with Institut Bergonié, has received authorization to proceed. Through these international clinical collaborations, KORTUC is building evidence across solid tumors where hypoxia can limit radiation response, with the goal of making effective, affordable and accessible cancer therapies available to patients worldwide.
