Dr. Zhu is currently chief resident at the Department of Radiation Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Washington University and medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He completed his internship at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital Chicago. He treats patients with radiation therapy. Research interests include clinical outcomes in pancreatic cancer, lung cancer and gynecological cancer, healthcare disparities, education in radiation oncology, and proton therapy. Prior publications have focused on the role of radiotherapy in cancer control outcomes, radiation oncology education, as well as sociodemographic determinants of clinical cancer outcomes.
