Francisco Lopez is a Medical Physicist graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982. He worked at the Medical College of WIsconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Radiotherapy Department for 33 years. He did mostly clinical and educational work while at Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2013 he was awarded the 2013-2014 Educator of the Year, Awarded by The Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO). In 2018, he moved to Xalapa Veracruz Mexico and started working as a clinical and educator physicist at the Radiotherapy Department at the Centro de Cancerologia Dr. Dorantes Mesa, where he currently works. Together with her boss Lourdes Palafox MS, were able to obtain a donation from IAEA of a linac under the program "Rays of Hope". Also, the IAEA will announce the creation and support of a "Reference Center for Latin America" for teaching radiotherapy clinical training to physicists from all of Latin America under Francisco and Lourdes tutorial.
