Geoffrey B. Johnson, MD, PhD, is Professor of Radiology and Associate Director of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota. He co-chairs the Novel Therapeutics Disease Group and chairs Mayo Clinic’s Radiopharmaceutical Disease Team. A board-certified diagnostic and nuclear radiologist, Dr. Johnson’s clinical and research work focuses on molecular imaging, theranostics, and radiopharmaceutical therapy, including beta- and alpha-emitting therapies. He leads and collaborates on clinical trials across prostate, neuroendocrine, breast, and other cancers and works closely with radiation oncology and other disciplines to advance radiopharmaceutical therapy as part of multidisciplinary cancer care. He previously served for eight years as Chair of Mayo Clinic’s Division of Nuclear Medicine and as Enterprise Chair of Nuclear Medicine. He is also founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Nucleus RadioPharma.
