Dr. Pacheco is an attending radiation oncologist at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología (INCan) and Médica Sur in Mexico City. At INCan, he is a member of the Functional Breast Cancer Unit, where he is actively involved in the multidisciplinary management of patients with breast malignancies. He is board-certified by the Mexican Board of Radiation Oncology and is an active member of the Mexican Society of Radiation Oncologists (SOMERA). Dr. Pacheco received his medical degree from Universidad Panamericana and completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology through the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), based at Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI. Following residency, he served as an attending radiation oncologist at Hospital Ángeles Lindavista before joining the faculty at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología. His clinical practice focuses on breast and genitourinary malignancies, with a particular interest in the implementation of modern radiotherapy techniques, hypofractionation, and personalized treatment strategies. His research is centered on breast cancer, including clinical outcomes, treatment optimization, and the integration of contemporary radiation therapy approaches to improve patient care.
