Hafsa Khalil is a 3rd year medical student at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, pursuing her MD with a distinction in Global Health. She is deeply committed to giving back as part of her mission, supporting underclassmen at UTSW through multiple mentorship programs, and guiding international high school as well as pre-medical undergraduates in the Joint Admission Medical Program.

Her academic interests include radiation oncology and women’s health, where she has contributed to research projects through the Global Health Distinction program at UTSW. Global health has been a central focus of her medical training, with fieldwork in Botswana and South Africa that has strengthened her dedication to addressing health disparities and improving access to care in diverse communities.
