Hidenari Hirata, MD, PhD is a staff physician of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the National Cancer Center Hospital East, and a staff physician of the Division of Functional Imaging, Exploratory Oncology Research & Clinical Trial Center at National Cancer Center, Japan. Dr. Hirata is also a board-certified radiation oncologist and has continued analyzing patient-derived biospecimens to characterize molecular features of therapeutic response while seeing patients undergoing radiotherapy.
