  • Dr. Hongyu Zhu is an associate professor at Sun Yat-sen University and a medical physicist of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. She received her Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2020. She underwent postdoctoral and medical physicist training at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from 2020 to 2022.

  • Dr. Zhu’s primary research interests include preclinical investigation and clinical translation of ultra-high dose rate radiotherapy, Monte Carlo simulation, and mathematical modeling of radiobiological effects.

  • Dr. Zhu has published 18 peer-reviewed academic papers and 8 conference abstracts. She also holds 4 patents and 2 software copyrights.

  • Dr. Zhu is the PI of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangzhou, and China postdoctoral science foundation. She is a key member of National Key Research and Development Program of China and Guangzhou Key Research and Development Program.
