Huei-Fang Yang, MSN, RN, is a senior oncology nurse and doctoral student in the Graduate Institute of Medicine at Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan. She currently serves in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, where she has more than 20 years of clinical nursing experience, including over 12 years dedicated to radiation oncology nursing. Her professional focus includes cancer nursing, radiotherapy patient education, intelligent care systems, patient safety, and holistic supportive care.


Ms. Yang received her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Chung Shan Medical University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Medical Science. She is also an adjunct lecturer involved in clinical nursing education and interdisciplinary training. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to improving radiotherapy nursing practice through innovative quality-improvement initiatives, digital patient education strategies, and workflow optimization systems.


Her recent research focuses on visual-based patient education, anxiety reduction interventions, intelligent laboratory alert systems, and self-care enhancement in patients undergoing radiotherapy. She has published peer-reviewed articles in journals including Radiation Oncology, BMC Nursing, and Journal of Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology, and has presented her work internationally at ASTRO, ESTRO meets Asia, ICN, and other oncology conferences. Ms. Yang has also received multiple awards for nursing innovation, patient safety improvement, and healthcare quality management in Taiwan.
