Dr. Mahmood is a PGY-5 Radiation Oncology resident and Chief Resident at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He earned his MD and MPH in health policy and management from Tulane University and completed his preliminary Internal Medicine internship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. His academic interests include health policy, adaptive radiotherapy, radiation oncology wellness initiatives, and quality improvement initiatives with a focus on clinical workflow efficiencies. Dr. Mahmood has presented research at national meetings including ASTRO and has contributed to multiple scholarly publications and educational initiatives within radiation oncology.
