I graduated from Yale University in 2015, with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. After a year-long Fulbright U.S. Student Fellowship at the Cajal Institute in Madrid, Spain, I attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine and graduated in 2020. I completed my internship in General Surgery at the University of Kentucky (UK) Albert B. Chandler Hospital and am currently a fourth-year resident with the UK Department of Radiation Medicine. To date, I have authored several publications pertaining to basic neuroscience, clinical outcomes in pediatric neurosurgical patients, and medical physics. My research interests include novel applications of MLC-based SFRT for control and palliation of large bulky tumors, HyperArc SRS for recurrent head and neck cancer, SBRT with SIB for large pulmonary tumors, and global radiation oncology provision in developing nations. From a leadership standpoint, I recently completed a 1-year term as the Radiation Medicine program representative for the UK Graduate Medical Education Resident and Fellow Forum. Currently, I serve as a chief resident for the UK Radiation Medicine Department and as a subcommittee member on the ACRO Resident Committee.
