Dr. Jooyoung (James) Sohn is an assistant professor and medical physicist in the Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on brachytherapy and hardware and software developments in radiation therapy. Previously, Dr. Sohn was an assistant professor at Northwestern University, specializing in MR-guided radiation therapy (MRgRT). Currently, he teaches courses on radiation interactions, health physics, and radiation therapy practicum while serving on the Graduate Program in Medical Physics committee.
