Jarey Wang, MD, PhD
Jarey Wang is currently a PGY-5 Radiation Oncology resident at Johns Hopkins University. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Duke University and his MD/PhD at Baylor College of Medicine. During his PhD, he investigated RNA spliceosome-targeted therapies as a novel agent for treating triple negative breast cancer. He is trained in both bioinformatics and bench research. He currently conducts research in oligometastatic prostate cancer with Drs. Phuoc Tran and Ana Kiess, and he has a specific interest in "omics" data and clinical biomarkers. In the future, he hopes to be a part of developing more integral biomarker trials in oncology, as a means to improving patient care and outcomes.
