Dr. Jie Liu is an Associate Professor and Head of the Molecular Imaging Platform at Shandong Cancer Hospital and Institute. He is a recipient of the Taishan Scholar Young Expert Award. His research focuses on translating novel molecular imaging probes for precision oncology, establishing a full-chain innovation system from target discovery to clinical application.
Dr. Liu has developed multiple proprietary imaging agents enabling multi-dimensional tumor visualization, overcoming the limitations of standard ¹8F-FDG PET. He has published 24 SCI papers in top-tier journals including J Nucl Med, Eur J Nucl Med Mol Imaging, Bioact Mater, and Mol Cancer, with over 370 citations. He leads several major research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Liu has delivered 15 invited oral presentations at international meetings, including SNMMI, EANM, and ASTRO, and received the EANM Top Rated Oral Presentation Award in 2025.
