Jilcha Feyisa (MD, MPH) is a trained clinical oncologist from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has worked at the only cancer referral hospital in the country. At present, he is attending his residency in both General Surgery preliminary and Radiation Oncology advanced programs at Dartmouth Health. He is passionate about becoming a good Radiation Oncologist and providing timely and appropriate cancer care at both local and global levels. Feyisa has been involved in various medical associations, such as being one of the founding members and the first General Secretary of the Ethiopian Hematology and Oncology Association in 2019. He is dedicated to promoting cancer prevention and advocating for availability of radiotherapy in low-income countries.
