Jocelyn Torres is a third year medical student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. Originally from El Paso, Texas, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Mathematics from St. Mary's University at San Antonio. Her interest in radiation oncology began during a summer internship, inspiring her to pursue the specialty through clinical experiences and research. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing chess and practicing yoga.
