John Hollman, BSN, RN, OCN®, is an experienced radiation oncology nurse and clinical educator with more than 25 years of progressive experience in oncology nursing, leadership, and education. He currently serves as a Radiation Nurse Educator at Texas Oncology, where he designs and implements clinical education programs, competency assessments, onboarding, and continuing education for nurses, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
John has held senior leadership roles across multi-site radiation oncology programs, including serving as Senior Nurse Manager of Radiation Therapy at Advent Health Cancer Institute in Orlando, Florida, where he oversaw nursing operations, staffing, and competencies across seven radiation oncology centers. His background spans direct patient care, program development, regulatory compliance, and workforce education within complex oncology settings.
A nationally recognized subject-matter expert, John is actively involved with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC). He is currently collaborating with ONCC on the development of the first Radiation Oncology Nursing Certification Exam and has contributed to multiple national task forces, test-writing committees, and role delineation studies. John is a frequent national and global speaker and has delivered keynote and invited presentations on radiation therapy, radiopharmaceuticals, and emerging oncology treatments.
