John "Jack" Kincaid is a fourth-year medical student at Harvard Medical School with academic interests in radiation oncology, nutrition science, and the intersection of diet and disease. He holds a BA/MS (Integrated) in Nutritional Biochemistry & Metabolism and Human Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, as well as an MPhil in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge Institute of Metabolic Science where he worked under Sir Stephen O'Rahilly studying the neuroendocrine regulation of appetite and body weight. Since starting medical training, he has been a member of Professor Matthew Vander Heiden's laboratory at the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, investigating the relationship between diet, obesity, and tumor progression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma as well as characterizing radiation-induced secondary malignancies in mice.
Jack is the recipient of an 2026 ASTRO Annual Meeting Basic Translational Award and an ASTRO-BCRF Travel Award.
