John "Jack" Kincaid is a fourth-year medical student at Harvard Medical School with focused interests radiation oncology, nutrition science, and the intersection of diet and disease. He holds a BA/MS (Integrated) in Nutritional Biochemistry & Metabolism and Human Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, as well as an MPhil from the University of Cambridge Institute of Metabolic Science where he worked under Sir Stephen O'Rahilly studying the neuroendocrine regulation of appetite and body weight. Since starting medical training, he has been a member of Professor Matthew Vander Heiden's laboratory at the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, investigating the relationship between diet, obesity, and tumorigenesis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma as well as characterizing radiation-induced secondary malignancies in mice.
