Justine Cunningham, MS, is a therapeutic medical physicist at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, where her clinical practice focuses on MR-guided radiation therapy, adaptive radiation therapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics and leads the physics component of Henry Ford Health’s MR-guided adaptive radiation therapy program. Justine received her Master of Science degree in Medical Physics from Wayne State University and subsequently completed her medical physics residency at Henry Ford Health, where she has continued her clinical career. Her work is primarily clinically focused, with an emphasis on the implementation, development, and optimization of advanced radiation therapy techniques. Her scholarly work centers on clinically applicable projects, particularly in adaptive radiation therapy, with the goal of translating technical advances into practical improvements in patient care and treatment delivery. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Justine serves as Secretary of the Great Lakes Chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (GLC-AAPM) and is a member of the AAPM Work Group on IMRT and VMAT (WGIMRT).
