Dr. Shin is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She earned her medical degree from Pusan National University in South Korea in 2023.
Her research focuses on prostate cancer, with emphasis on optimizing the use of hormone therapy across disease stages and refining radiation treatment modalities, including proton therapy. She was appointed to the Institute for Data Science in Oncology fellowship at MD Anderson, where she works on projects applying data-driven approaches such as digital twin modeling that integrate clinical and imaging data to support treatment planning and precision oncology.
