Dr. Keerthiga completed her DNB in Radiation Oncology at Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Visakhapatnam, India. She served as Senior Resident at Apollo Cancer Centre, Bilaspur, where she contributed to individualized radiation treatment planning, toxicity assessment, longitudinal follow-up care, and multidisciplinary oncology decision-making. Her clinical experience also includes efforts to improve access to oncology care for underserved and remote communities through patient care, cancer screening camps, and awareness campaigns.
Dr. Keerthiga’s clinical and academic interests center on breast and genitourinary radiotherapy, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment planning, treatment tolerance, patient-centered outcomes, and equitable access to cancer care. Her publication highlights include “Implementing high-dose rate surface mould brachytherapy for carcinoma of eyelid:” (ROJ, 2024) and “FAST-Forward Trial in Breast Cancer: Indian Dosimetric Feasibility” (JCO, 2022). She remains committed to advancing evidence-based, compassionate radiation oncology care through clinical excellence, research, and community-focused service.
